M.V.“Voyager” is an amazing go anywhere ‘expedition’ vessel measuring 26 metres overall and is constructed of ¼ inch steel plate from keel to gunwhales! The vessel carries 32,000 litres of fuel and weighs in at over 160 tonnes. The Captain and crew are more used to exploring the Baltic Sea and Scandinavian Fjords than the quiet waters of the Solent, although the Captain identified Endeavour QuayMY Voyager 160ton Private mortoyacht as the boatyard of choice to get the vessel safely lifted and stored ashore using our experienced boat lifting team and 180 ton travel hoist. This coupled with the excellent deep water access in all states of tide, unrestricted air draft, undercover storage for vessels of up to 45 metres and an Open Yard Policy make Endeavour Quay an unbeatable destination for big boat refit, repair and annual maintenance. Two coats of anti foul, remedial work on the propellers and some minor repairs onboard were all completed by the permanent crew supported by our on site marine specialists all located at this well sited boat lifting and support services destination.

Endeavour Quay has hosted a number of large Princess motor yachts over the last few weeks- At the end of February a very elegant looking brand new Princess V56 came ashore for some factory retrofit work requiring the controlled conditions of our fully serviced boat sheds.

The boat was treated with a Nano Technology product called G-Techniq that repells dirt and retains an ultra high gloss finish. G-Techniq Chichester MD Nigel Tuttle said of the facilities – “This was the only yard to use. The job would have been virtually impossible to do without Endeavour Quay’s lifting and storage capabilities, we are very grateful to Tim and the Team”

Finally last week a Princess MY85 was lifted out at Endeavour Quay for anti fouling and annual maintenance. This 25 metre, £3.5million luxury motor yacht was safely lifted, painted and relaunched within 7 days thanks to the expertise and professionalism of the team at Endeavour Quay.
